Greetings!

My journey in coaching started at the age of 18, driven by a passion for making a positive impact. I began by working with a lone sprinter, a journey that led to the rewarding experience of guiding him to two silver medals at State Titles in my first year. This early success fuelled my lifelong commitment to coaching.

Throughout the years, my path has evolved in response to life's twists and turns. I've had the privilege of collaborating with state sports organisations, institutes & academies. In response to the travel requirements of some of my jobs, I utilised coaching by correspondence which, over time, has developed into a focus on online coaching.

 

A significant source of fulfilment for me has been mentoring masters athletes for more than two decades, witnessing their achievements defy age boundaries. I've had the honour of supporting athletes at all levels, from local victories to national and international triumphs across a wide range of sports. This has included amateur, semi-professional, and professionals athletes, each contributing a unique thread to my coaching journey.

 

My connection to sport goes beyond coaching – I am masters athlete myself (a sprinter) and I played rugby league until the age of 40. This personal experience has enriched my understanding of an athlete's journey - particularly as they compete past the age of 30. Every step of my journey has contributed to my coaching philosophy, which is centred around improving performance and reducing the risk of injury.
